Self-Connection and Self-Empathy: Fundamentals of Nonviolent Communication

Nonviolent Communication is “an inside job.” In this 8-week course, we’ll build on the foundations of self-connection and self-empathy. NVC starts with personal transformation as the foundation for being in relationship with others.

Nonviolent Communication (NVC) is not simply about 'nonviolence' and is not restricted to 'communication.'

NVC is a way of being in the world. Everything shifts through a lens of compassion. That shift starts with self-compassion, including being present to what is happening now, noticing and allowing the physical sensations in your body, being a warm loving presence to yourself, and re-connecting to what is most important to you in that moment.
